In addition to quaint shops, great food and essential services, a wealth of attractions await you in Historic Willamette: A Main Street Community.

Old Willamette Walking Tour

Shopkeepers can point the way to our surprising sights and newly-designated National Historic Register District directly behind their businesses. Or you might request a copy of the self-guided, Old Willamette Walking Tour pamphlet. It contains a street map, descriptions of Victorian era homes built between 1890 – 1920 and city history.

Start at the steepled Methodist Church along Willamette Falls Drive. Circa 1908, the church served Willamette’s founding families and may still serve their descendents living in the area. The church corner is the spot where the barbershop quartet greets visitors in the fall participating in Willamette’s Living History Carriage and Lantern Light tour.

Location: 1683 Willamette Falls Dr.
