2025 Willamette Chalk Walk

Please join us to decorate the sidewalks of Willamette! All skills! All Ages!

Cost: 4 x 4 area $5  OR  8 x 10 area $20
Location: Willamette Falls Drive between 11th and 14th Streets, info booth at Willamette Falls Dr and 13th St near TVF&R Station #59
Check in: open at 8 am for artists, and after school for kids.  Each participant will be assigned a specific location.

An initial supply of chalk will be provided to participants with this cost. Additional chalk supplies are available for $5*. Dress appropriately for chalk work and bring kneeling pads if desired. 

Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd for each entrant category except Preschool. Participation ribbons for all preschool, primary, middle, and high school students.

Onsite registration is $10 for a 4x4 area or $30 for an 8x10 area.

Event Date: Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 9 am - 2 pm

Waiver & Release

By digitally signing this application, I, the undersigned, acknowledge and agree to the following: 

Assumption of Risk: I understand that participation in the Historic Willamette Main Street Chalk Art Festival is voluntary and may include, but not limited to physical injury, damage to property, and other unforeseen risks. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation in this event. 

Release of Liability: I hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless Historic Willamette Main Street, its organizers, volunteers, sponsors, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from my participation in the event. 

Compliance with Rules: I agree to comply with all rules and regulations set forth by Historic Willamette Main Street and the event organizers. Artwork must be appropriate for all people and ages.

Use of Artwork: I grant Historic Willamette Main Street the irrevocable right to use photographs, videos, and other media of my artwork and my participation in the event for promotional, marketing, and educational purposes, without any compensation to me. This includes but is not limited to use on websites, social media, printed materials, and other media. 

Adult supervision is required for all participants under the age of 18 for the duration of the event.  

Parental Consent (if applicable): If the participant is under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must sign below, granting permission for the minor to participate and agreeing to the terms of this waiver and release on behalf of the minor.
