How Long You’ve Been Here

I bought the restaurant on February 9, 2009, and officially opened the doors on June 9, 2009. We’ve proudly been serving the Historic Willamette community ever since.

What Makes You Unique

My passion and my great staff. We are also incredibly grateful for our loyal guests and the community that continues to support the business year after year. It truly feels like a neighborhood gathering place.

Something People Might Not Know

My nickname is “Willy.” I played 50 years of sports growing up in the Beaverton area, and I worked for NIKE for 22 years in sports marketing promotions. Sports and teamwork have always been a big part of my life — and that energy carries into the restaurant.

Your Favorite Part

Both — I love the restaurant side and the sports bar atmosphere. They each bring something special to J. Willy’s.
